NOW HIRING FREELANCE STORYBOARD ARTISTS (CAD $40 to $50 per hour)

Join us on an animated pre-school series (Tencent Partners with Age of Learning). Preference given for experienced storyboard artists who are currently working remotely within the Greater Vancouver, Canada area. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create storyboard thumbnails (sketch rough storyboard panels up to finished storyboard sequences)
• Ensure the vision and style of the show is consistently adhered to through execution of action, staging, dialogue and camera
• Execute revision notes from Supervising Directors
• Include all final dialogue, backgrounds, direction, camera moves and action by making drawing or text changes in description, dialogue or numbering
• Present work that appropriately aligns with production and workflow guidelines requirements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 4 years of formal storyboarding experience on an animated series and/or combination of training and education from a recognized animation program
• Knowledge of and experience with television animation production pipelines
• Experience using various storyboard software
• Demonstrated ability to follow the style and sensibility of the show
• Skill in humour and character interaction
• Strong staging and composition skills
• Facility to draw characters and environments on model within established show styles
