Art Project Manager

Description

We’re looking for a talented, detail-oriented Project Manager who is passionate about creating amazing content to join our art team. If you are an experienced Project Manager (or looking to start a career in Project Management) who is looking to work with a talented team of individuals from all disciplines (art, engineering, product & design) in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your actions can have meaningful impact on the games we make, then this role is for you!

Reporting to the Director of Art, you will schedule tasks, manage assets, review work, maintain AAA quality and manage our 3rd party Art partners. You will learn our development process, help us organize and plan work, frequently check in with art and product leadership, to drive our first product Kingdom Maker to a successful worldwide launch.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the important aspects of communication, coordination and making sure all cylinders are firing for the art team
  • Manage Jira - including writing tickets, tracking progress, adjusting priority, and making sure projects are tracking on time
  • Coordinate art resource calendar and art production spreadsheets
  • Coordinate weekly handoff schedules
  • Manage 3rd part vendor relationships (outsourced art teams) and coordinate their efforts within the overall art roadmap and pipeline
  • Coordinate production between art and other disciplines involving both features and games
  • Reliable & universal point of contact for art-related issues
  • Organizes standups, art reviews, and build reviews
  • Bug testing apps and games

What you Will Need:

  • Relevant experience as a Project Manager at a game developer, publisher, or graduated with relevant degree and/or schooling
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Google Docs, Office, SharePoint and/or other productivity software
  • Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track with supervision
  • Deadline driven and detail-oriented, a strategic thinker who also has a high attention to detail
  • A passion for learning and owning the coordination of teams to ship AAA content and features on time and at performant quality
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Need to be both a ‘leader’ and a ‘people person’ who excels at working with a diverse and talented set of individuals to meet business needs
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts between technology, schedule and design goals
  • Must excel at following up on task completion, identifying dependencies and disseminating information to staff and management
  • Passion for gaming and an understanding of mobile game development
  • Established communication, presentation, organizational and people skills
  • Respect for all internal process and strong desire to learn and drive to those processes
  • Must display resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
  • Artistic background with an excellent eye for detail
