Visual UI Designer

Description

This Design Group is creating the next generation of clinical tools that harness the power of big data to deliver truly personalized medical and clinical insights to doctors, healthcare professionals and patients.  To do this, our world class team of designers, user researchers, interaction and behavioral scientists needs to grow.  We are looking for some short-term visual designers, interaction designers and a scientific visualization artist to bring problem-solving skills to deliver cohesive and compelling interface designs for these next generation digital tools.

You’ll dive deep into new spaces - understanding your users’ needs, workflows, motivations and how things work in the users’ realities. You love to explore a wide range of concepts and work collaboratively with teammates to quickly iterate, validate, and refine ideas together. You’re an organized, flexible, and motivated self-starter, comfortable iterating quickly and viewing constraints as creative opportunities.  You must be comfortable working with projects that are evolving quickly.

You love using your visual design skills to add value, depth, and enjoyment to demanding experiences.  Your portfolio shows you have a very strong understanding of layout, typography, color, form, and motion skills, and how they add depth to a great overall experience. You are organized, thoughtful, have a great eye for detail and the ability to work comfortably in a wide array of styes, including a style set by another designer.  You already know Sketch (preferred) or Figma as well as the core Adobe design products.  You should have a Bachelors’ degree in graphic design, industrial or product design, motion graphics or UI design along, with a minimum of 3 years professional experience designing and developing engaging products and/or interfaces for consumer or healthcare products.
