Description
We are currently looking for an Unreal Game Programmer for a New Unannounced Project, this is a remote working role.
We are developing a sims style persistent world game with an emphasis on player ownership, creativity, and economic simulation in Unreal V.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience and knowledge of Unreal 3.4.5 with a creative and hands-on attitude amplified by an entrepreneurial spirit for excellence. Expertise, affinity, and passion for the massively multiplayer, simulation, and real-time-strategy genres is a must.
This is a heroic opportunity to change the play-to earn blockchain gaming space as a hands-on leader partnered with a legendary industry veteran team.
Essentials
- 8-10+ years of experience developing AAA games professionally
- A keen analytical mind with robust mathematical skills for systems and balance
- Master level C++ skills
- Master level Unreal Engine knowledge
- The ability to design and build game systems and tools in collaboration with full stack developers
- Fanatical gaming knowledge of the sims genre and real-time strategy titles
- Expertise with RTS and 3rd person camera and animation and game systems
- An eye for performance, rendering, optimization
- Positive and articulate communication and interpersonal skills both spoken and written
- Experience working on Free-to-play multiplayer game and or simulations titles
- Brilliant imagination complimented by reliability and execution
- Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
- Excited by problem-solving
- Fearless
Desirable
- Knowledge in blockchain, NFTs, and cryptocurrency.
- Interest in full stack development, including UI/UX through backend
- Expertise in system design
