experience. We are an international team working out of Copenhagen in a
work environment that is fast, fun, full of passion, and drive. Our core

form of entertainment - games. Through various activities we support
our group of studios to create the best games in the world. The Market
Lab will be part of our support functions offering market research
services to our studios. We also have a User Research Lab. The purpose
of our support functions is to help our studios become more market and
data informed and as a result enable them to make even better decisions,
even greater games and some great profits at the end.

Market Researcher responsibilities
As
our Market Researcher you will be responsible for developing and
kickstarting the Market Lab in collaboration with our studios. We expect
that you bring all your experience and ideas to the table, define the
methodologies, develop the specific service to offer our studios, plan
and conduct research, and deliver the results in both writing/PPT format
and in debrief to the stakeholder (game studio). The Market Lab will be
its own business unit, so a good sense of business and entrepreneurship
is a plus. The plan is to add a data analyst to the market lab team
asap.
You will perform a mix of market size analysis (e.g. game
genre, audience, demographics, geographic), competitor analysis, market
gaps analysis, revenue stream analysis, business model & price point
analysis, platform potential analysis, IP analysis and/or something
else based on the needs and requests from our studios, and together with
them develop new services. You will be the go-to person for market
research for all our studio and keep an eye on the market for each of
them and Nordisk Games.
To succeed in the role, you have:
- An academic background and several years of work experience with market research methodologies
- High analytical skills, ability to clean, scrutinize and investigate big amount of data
- Experience
in translating high-level information into meaningful reports &
insights / Bridge findings to be relevant in context of the game and
stakeholder
- Experience with presenting findings and lead constructive discussions and collaboration with game developers
- Experience with statistical tools and research partners within and outside the games industry
- Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal, including the ability to clearly articulate messages
- Solid
experience and network within the games industry, both on a cultural,
business and game development production process level
- Familiarity with various game genres and business models
- Excellent project and team management skills
- The ability to translate knowledge, needs and requests into possible services / strong customer service skills

Location & Work Hours
The
position is a fulltime position located at Nordisk Games headquarters
at Nordisk Film, Mosedalvej 14, 2500 Valby, Denmark. Possibility of a
hybrid work-from-home option, but main time is preferred to be at the
HQ. Travelling mainly within Europe will be needed.
