3D Senior Character Rigger / Generalist

Lola Visual Effects is an award winning visual effects company that created computer generated imagery for feature films and streaming series. We are looking for Senior Character Rigger / Generalist, with a passion for television and feature film VFX to join our LA facility.  This job is onsite only.  

Responsibilities:

·       Setup rigs and deformations for characters and creatures using Maya.

·       Help with scene setup and technical issues throughout productions.

·       Maintain and improve 3D pipeline.

·       Maintain a high level of quality while working within production timelines.

·       Effectively communicate and collaborate with your team and production leads across multiple projects.

Qualifications:

·       The ideal candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience rigging in the VFX industry.

·       Expert knowledge of Maya.

·       Proficiency with Python or MEL.

·       Must be able to work closely with other artists.

Additional Desired Skills:

·       Animation

·       CFX (cloth, hair, etc.)

·       Scene layout

·       Modeling

Pluses:

·       Tracking experience with PFTrack or 3DEqualizer.

·       Experience working with photogrammetry and Lidar.
