Role Summary

The Recruiter People Acquisition Burbank for Sphere Studios will play a vital role in the People Practices (Human Resources) Department and is responsible for sourcing and recruiting Production, Technology and Artist temp and full time staffing needs. This position will work closely with business leaders to provide results in presenting and hiring quality candidates that meet the requirements of our business needs. This position is in Burbank, CA and will work closely with hiring managers, people practice team to hire talent to support MSG Sphere studio. This person will utilize the support of the larger team in New York and rely of the their team to develop and implement recruiting process that align to the needs of the business.

Specific Functions/Activities Summary

· The Recruiter Talent Acquisition will manage Burbank Production temp staffing for roles supporting Productions, Ventures and Technology.

· This role will build a temp staffing process and infrastructure to support Sphere project hiring.

· This person will create the hiring process and establish the system of record to capture artists and deploy talent in a timely manner to meet business needs.

· This role will develop the process to track candidate booking availability to work and pro-actively present ready to work candidates on a regular basis and as requested.

· This role will establish partnerships with PA team, leaders of their assigned groups, manage stakeholders and support the temp hiring process.

· The ideal candidate is committed to providing an enhanced customer and candidate experience and marketing MSGE as a great place to work.

· This position will recruit and hire staff as directed, including working with hiring managers in the requisition intake process, scope of open positions, working with compensation department on position pricing, securing approvals, creating, and executing posting and direct sourcing strategies, assessing, and interviewing candidates, and guiding and coaching hiring managers through the process of attracting and onboarding talent.

· Participate in industry events during off hours (nights and weekends).

· The ideal candidate will be committed to execute processes, programs and communications ensuring adherence to established Company standards.

· This position will consistently communicate within the People Practices organization to ensure that all groups are well informed by the Acquisition team


· The ideal candidate will have relevant staffing experience ideally in Pre/Post/Physical Productions, Digital Media, Artists, VFX, Immersive, Games, and Technology for a Media company or studio.

· Strong history of placement success, process orientation and strong collaboration skills.

· Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

· Working knowledge and understanding of all laws, rules, codes, and regulations applicable to the workplace.

· Ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing entrepreneurial work environment while performing multiple tasks and managing a large requisition workload is a must.
