Job Summary
Alkemy X has an immediate opening for a CG Generalist based out of California, and we want your brilliance on our team! Working closely and collaborating with the CG Supervisor, VFX Supervisor and Producer, to complete various CG tasks within the deadlines and budgets or multiple high end episodic projects.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years generalist experience working primarily in Houdini / Maya
Live action episodic and / or feature experience
Strong technical knowledge of CG and able to trouble shoot technical problems
Understanding of VFX workflows, databases, file directories, scripts, and tools
Experienced in various aspects of CG: modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, shading, texturing and FX
An experienced and honed creative eye
Good verbal and written communication skills
Can work well both independently and in a team based environment
Well organized with excellent technical problem-solving skills
Versatile, flexible, able to juggle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and sense of humor a must
Responsibilities
Execute various CG tasks for different aspects of 3D independently
Work remotely with Producer, Leads, Supervisors, Nuke Compositors and Department Heads to meet various deadlines on time and on budget
Help plan and implement creative direction
Attend dailies sessions with the team to discuss progress and receive feedback
