Job Summary
Alkemy X is seeking California based SR Compositors to work in a cooperative and fun team environment, alongside other VFX Artists and departments, taking direction from Producers, Supervisors and Leads to craft and execute Client’s vision up to internal and Client standards for high end Episodics. Ultimately ensure completion of assigned tasks on time and under budget.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years compositing in Nuke on episodic, features or commercials
* Experience in Live Action compositing
* Good general and technical knowledge of Nuke and other related compositing tools and programs
* Has artistic and aesthetic eye
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Can work well both independently and in a team based settings plus remains calm under pressure
* Ability to take direction
* Versatile, flexible, able to juggle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work with tight and various deadlines
* Overall positive attitude
Responsibilities
* Work with Producers and Supervisors to design and execute Client’s and internal expectations
* Meet deadlines for assigned shots both temp and final
* Work on and execute various SR Level shots / tasks such as, integration of internal and client provided elements, live action footage, CG, stock footage and matte painting into final shot using Nuke
* Helping to determine best strategy to overcome compositing challenges and to complete assigned work
