Deck Nine Games is currently hiring several Junior Producers to join our award-winning narrative adventure teams.

 

As a Junior Producer you will be coordinating the efforts of one or more departments during the development of our games. You will work with your teams to establish and meet goals, help them maintain clear communication with the rest of the project, and be the glue that keeps everything together. You don’t need prior game experience for this role, instead you are a hard-working, self-motivated, persistent person who obsesses over details and loves helping people succeed.

 

This is a full-time position that can be on-site or remote, with full benefits. It is a multi-year project still in the early stages with a team of 80+ developers and room for you to grow your expertise and expand your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

•  Work with team to establish and meet goals

•  Construct spreadsheets and documents for internal and external consumption

•  Manage Jira and Confluence projects / spaces

•  Update milestone schedules with latest information

•  Proactively communicate issues and solutions

•  Collaborate with Lead Producer to deliver game on time and on budget

•  Contribute solutions to team, product, and studio problems

•  Member of and contributor to a positive, collaborative, creative studio environment

•  Take every idea and challenge seriously but not personally

•  Be a passionate team member every day

Bonus Points

•  Experience with narrative games or cinematic pipelines 

•  Experience in another discipline: programming, art, design, narrative, animation, et cetera

•  Experience with Jira, Excel, MS Project, Confluence

•  Anything that demonstrates that you meet the requirements of the position

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 DOE

It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. **

Here at Deck Nine Games our passion is storytelling games. We are an independent game developer dedicated to crafting AAA interactive story games that inspire, transform, and entertain players. In 2021 we released Life is Strange True Colors, which went on to win multiple awards for storytelling and visuals, including best storytelling for 2021 and a VGA for Games for Impact. Recently we announced that we are developing a game for the hit sci-fi Amazon series, The Expanse. Our prior titles have won multiple awards, including Game of the Year and nominations for VGA and BAFTA awards.
