Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Five years professional work experience is required. Experience as a Student Career Counselor or Alumni relations at a university level or a Game industry recruiter is preferred.
Experience counseling and mentoring students through the job search process is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of specific skills needed in game development and how the video game industry conducts hiring is preferred.
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
A strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) is required.
Experience working with Handshake is preferred.
