Deck Nine Games is looking to hire two talented mid level or Senior Graphics Programmers to help define and deliver the look of a AAA single-player adventure game.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with talented artists and programmers to make amazing games that focus on visual storytelling
- Research and deliver on the latest rendering techniques to keep us on the cutting edge of the console and PC industry
- Help drive the look of our game across a wide range of platforms while maintaining fantastic visuals
- Optimize effects and graphics to make sure we look the best we can and run smoothly
- Work with technical artists and content creators to help define best practices
- Mid to senior level experience in the console/PC industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Graphics, Math, or equivalent
- A passion for creating gorgeous and optimized visuals
- Strong 3D math and linear algebra skills
- Expertise in the latest shading and lighting techniques
- Be a driven, motivated personality that wants to make great games
Pluses
- Unreal 4 experience
- Multiple shipped titles in a graphics role
- AAA games experience
- Raytracing experience

Salary Range: $70,000-$150,000 DOE

Here at Deck Nine Games our passion is storytelling games. We are an independent game developer dedicated to crafting AAA interactive story games that inspire, transform, and entertain players. In 2021 we released Life is Strange True Colors, which went on to win multiple awards for storytelling and visuals, including best storytelling for 2021 and a VGA for Games for Impact. Recently we announced that we are developing a game for the hit sci-fi Amazon series, The Expanse.
