Deputy Head of Production

The Glasgow Deputy Head of Production (DHOP) supports the Head of Production (HOP) in managing and developing the Axis Glasgow production department, and by extension supports the delivery of all projects to budget, scope, schedule and creative expectations. 

The DHOP will take ownership of the department processes, tools and documentation including Confluence, 10K, SG.

The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the line management of all Glasgow based production coordinators and production assistants.

**Please note this role can be based remotely or we offer a hybrid working model if you live within commutable distance of the studio**

Responsibilities Include:

• Support HOP in evaluation, improvement and implementation of budgeting, tracking and planning tools and workflow processes

• Training and support teams on the use of budgeting, tracking and planning tools and workflow processes

• Continual supervising the use of budgeting, tracking and planning tools and compliance with workflow process across live projects

• Support, training, and problem solving for 10.000ft and SG users within the production team

• Coordinate render planning for live projects, working closely with DHOCG

• Line Management of Production Coordinators and Production Assistants in the Glasgow studio (training, management and resourcing)

• Collaborate with HODs to solve every day production issues

Requirements:

• Previous people management experience is essential
