SVP Sales & Partnerships


Who are we hiring?
The Senior Vice President of Sales & Partnerships will be based in Burbank CA and be responsible for delivering all advertising, sponsorship, hospitality, and marquee partner revenues for the MSG Sphere. The leader will be responsible for building the MSG Sphere sales and partnership team largely from scratch. The MSG Sphere opens in Las Vegas in fall of 2023. In addition to recruiting the team, the leader will be responsible for building the sales strategy, establishing the right sales operations systems and discipline to deliver our revenue targets. The leader will also be expected to open doors with the largest potential advertising, event, and sponsorship partners in the world and develop these relationships at the highest levels.

What will you do?

  • Lead the design and building of the MSG Sphere Sales and Partnership Organization.
  • Attract, recruit, and build a team of sales and business development leaders who can design marketing solutions for some of the most innovative brand partners in the world.
  • Sell the naming rights of the MSG Sphere to the right brand partner for amounts and a term that will establish new benchmarks in the industry.
  • Sell five to seven multi year category sponsorships to leading brands in a manner that will advance our brand positioning as one of the most innovative and disruptive brands in media and entertainment.
  • Manage the media sales for the MSG Sphere Exposphere which will be the most iconic broadcast medium in the world
  • This advertising platform needs to be designed from scratch and turned into a business that generates hundreds of millions of dollars per year
  • Sell all suites and premium hospitality in the MSG Sphere to our corporate partners.
  • Work in partnership with our MSG Marquee Events leadership to sell major events (ie Formula 1 racing, NFL Draft, the Grammys, CES) to key partners and help develop content solutions for our partners and our fans

What do you need to succeed?
  • 15-25 years leading media and sponsorship driven sales organizations
  • Proven ability to generate new revenue streams and deliver exceptional sales revenue growth for major media, advertising, or entertainment company.
  • Must be well versed in designing customer solutions that maximize value for partners and revenue for their own company.
  • Must be a talent magnet that can attract and build a world class sales force.
  • Must inspire creative customer solutions that break traditional norms in how media, advertising, and sponsorship is sold.
  • Must have an extensive network of industry relationships at the C-Suite level.
  • Must be a strategic and disciplined sales leader with strong operational discipline to manage sales pipelines and delivery of customer marketing solutions.    ?
  • Must have deep understanding of digital advertising, media and entertainment, brand advertising, and sales leadership.
  • Be a passionate user of technology and be on the leading edge in how technology is used to build business.
