Who are we hiring?
Based in Los Angeles but reporting to the SVP MarCom, this individual will be responsible for helping drive the strategic narrative around Sphere and Sphere Studios, with a focus on earned and paid media and reaching audiences critical to our success, including the creative industry across Hollywood, the music industry, tech and gaming. This person will also work to deepen our relationship with greater Las Vegas, including with partners at Casinos, in government, tourism and at Tao Group.
What will you do?
- Responsible for the creation and implementation of aggressive, proactive, creative and quantifiable communications and public relations plans for MSG Sphere in Las Vegas
- Responsible for the on-going publicity outreach relating to events and special franchises for Las Vegas Sphere venue, including overseeing the development and execution of plans for high profile new shows, major concerts, any facility-related upgrades and enhancements, including some on-site management, management of local in-market pr agencies, if applicable.
- Drive the strategic narrative around MSG Sphere and MSG Sphere Studios
- Focus on earned and paid media and reaching audiences critical to MSG Sphere’s success
- Deepen MSG relationship with greater Las Vegas
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7–10 years relevant experience
- Must have high level of competence and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Executes initiatives with excellent follow-through
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive experience with proactive pitching and media interaction
