Who we are

Streamline was founded in 2001 in The Netherlands by four young, passionate gamers with a gift for modding and developing original games. Twenty years later, Streamline has weathered the digital transformation, economic crisis, and a global pandemic. Since our first project, Gunman Chronicles, we've established strong relationships with AAA developers, publishers, and brands across the entertainment and enterprise industries. 

Streamline is now five brands with over 180 people across three continents. We've evolved into a company that bridges media, entertainment, technology, and enterprise with video game technology and methodology. We continue to seek out like-minded creatives and innovators to collaborate with, as we love playing games, and we love working in and developing new tools and technologies to build them. 

The Lead Concept Artist is part of the core management team that is responsible for managing and coordinating projects, whilst mentoring teams of artists to help them get from good to great.?

• Work with the internal Project Managers and external clients to establish and maintain the quality and style of projects. 
• Advise Project Managers in creating bids and implementing schedules; and overseeing the assigning and tracking of art assets.
• Communicate regularly with the artists and Project Managers - and if required, the clients, regarding project milestones and initiatives in making sure to obtain executive guidance and approval when needed.
• Create and maintain briefs and documents for asset creation and training.
• Study and understand Client/Partner technology & processes and train artists in using it if required.
• Identify and recommend areas of growth for each artist.
• Participate in defining tools and art production pipelines whilst understand the advantages and limitations of technology and thus develop strategies to maximize performance; establish and audits existing production best practices, suitable for Streamline Studios’ requirements.
• Assist in HR related processes such as monitoring staff well-being and identifying potential risks.
• Works with management team in establishing and driving down team vision, mission and values. This includes being part of conducting timely exercises to ensure they are updated according to overall company goals.
• Responsible for developing and iterating ideas with whilst retaining the artistic vision of the Project Art Director.
• Maintaining art quality and consistency, keeping the team optimal in their abilities.
