Five & Done is on the hunt for a Senior Designer to join the team. The role is for someone for whom no detail is too small, no project too big. They are a master at making the complex simple in a way that seems effortless to those around them. They’re the most Seniorist Designer in the world.
This role is about delivering the best work of your life with brands even your parents recognize. You will work on projects that range from start-ups that need “a little branding” (oh and a simple website) to reimagining the careers experience for Fortune 500 companies – and everything in between. The ideal candidate is excited by the opportunity to define each project by applying their skills in strategic thinking, communication, design and usability.
Responsibilities vary day-to-day but will involve contributing to strategy, directing designers, evaluating and updating wireframes, making prototypes, designing user interfaces and micro interactions, and ultimately defining the visual design style of the project. You will present your point of view to internal teams and clients alike.

- Clearly communicate a strong design point of view.
- Pitch your ideas and designs to both internal and external teams.
- Define the visual design style for projects.
- Lead collaboration efforts with our development team.
- Design and/or refine interactive prototypes in Figma or Invision that can be shared and presented.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to designers on the project.
- Participate in all phases of the project, from strategy to launch, to ensure the build reflects your vision.
About You
- You have at least 5-7 years of professional experience working within an agency environment and/or on consumer web applications.
- You are detail oriented in all aspects of your work.
- You use the latest design applications such as Figma, Invision, Overflow etc...
- You are no stranger to JIRA.
- You have experience directing designers and or interns.
- You understand how to communicate with development teams.
- You have prior experience in a client-facing role.
- You understand how to effectively pitch your work.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
