CG Generalist (freelance)
Description
This position is currently being offered as a freelance role but there is potential for longer term contracts in the future.
We are looking for someone to start immediately.
Requirements / necessary skills for the role include:
2+ years experience utilizing Maya for CG modeling and texturing, shading, for an animated series or CG Feature or CG Animated series, preferably in the children’s media space or animation industry.
2+ years experience utilizing Photoshop, Substance Painter, Maya for Texturing, Materials, and or 3D Modeling. Experience working in a pipeline rendering in Redshift highly preferred.
Must have own equipment and software to mirror internal pipeline fully downloaded to be able to start work immediately
Must be able to take direction from Art Directors, CG Supervisors, and upper Production Management to achieve creative goals and deadlines
Must be able to hit timely deadlines and collaborate with all members of the production team to fully execute the designs established by the Brand.
Must be comfortable researching reference materials for aesthetics
Must maintain a consistent level of design to existing CoComelon library asset and brand guidelines
