DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Support multiple engineering teams by facilitating meetings, taking notes, resolving blockers and capturing/following up on action items
  • Work with Engineering Department Director, stakeholders, and dependent groups to capture, vet, organize, prioritize, track and make work requests visible to the engineering team
  • Coordinate and run sprint & milestone planning, retrospectives, and sprint & milestone reviews
  • Facilitate communication and resolve blockers between other disciplines and the engineering team
  • Communicate high level status (on track, at risk) and use data and projected headcount ramps to derive long term milestone goals
  • Keep monthly and quarterly engineering milestone plans up to date
  • Track velocity & scope vs capacity data to continuously improve accuracy with future sprint & milestone commitments
  • Strategize risk mitigation plans with Engineering Department Director, Lead Producer & Director of Development
  • Collaborate with other producers & departments to establish and refine content pipelines and development processes that involve engineering efforts
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department for build deployments and build notes
  • Liaise with publisher/legal and studio finance to manage drafting and approval of vendor contracts

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in game development as an Engineering Producer or Project Manager
  • Experience coordinating with art and design-based game development professionals
  • Deeply familiar with pre-production and production phases of AAA game development
  • Deeply familiar with Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products
  • Excellent soft skills with a firm yet supportive demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
