Motion GFX Artist

MOTION GFX ARTIST

Support nimble team in the creation, production and delivery of premium AV digital outdoor billboards for high profile theatrical campaigns. Ideal candidate is team oriented, collaborative, possesses a blend of technical and creative skill sets, has a keen eye for creative problem-solving and is passionate about visual storytelling.

DUTIES

• Build out motion from approved storyboards
• Develop motion graphics transitions and elements that are on brand with the property and aligned with campaign visuals
• Roto, key and clean-up on blue/green screen talent footage, color correction as needed
• Build out effects that mirror cinematic finish level (in a short amount of time)
• Apply approved creative to varying board sizes and formats
• Prep source files for global distribution
• Composite green screen talent footage into custom environments
• Integrate GFX with live action footage

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2-3 years professional agency experience in similar role - entertainment marketing agency experience preferred
• Experience creating and delivering content for digital billboards
• Previous experience and/or general understanding of digital billboard delivery specs, preferred
• Experience converting approved creative into varying sizes and formats (doesn’t have to be OOH related)

REQUIREMENTS 

CREATIVE

  • Able to see motion graphics assignments through from concept through execution

  • Strong familiarity and experience with AE-based, motion graphics-focused compositing and animation techniques

  • Experience with marrying design, GFX and print elements to live action footage to create compelling campaign narratives


TECHNICAL

  • Minimum 3 years experience in After Effects, Premiere & Photoshop

  • Experience with 2.5D & 3D cameras in After Effects

  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D

  • Understanding of network storage (NAS)

  • Must be able to pick up new workflows and software quickly

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems with the discernment to know when to ask for help

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook a must

  • Must be team oriented

  • Ability to work independently, possessing good communication skills and the ability to prioritize, multitask, managing upward and downward

  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment

  • Able to quickly switch gears and pivot to different projects as needed

  • Meticulous, collaborative, patient, level headed, able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

  • Available to work a flexible schedule including potential overtime with little or no notice
