Who are we hiring?
The Manager of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) & Digital Operations is responsible for the development, data input, and upkeep of all Building and Venue Operations digital maintenance records. The role will be responsible for collecting and inputting all venue, equipment, inventory, and maintenance data into the venue CMMS system pre-opening. The CMMS manager will work with all Venue Operations directors and managers to support the efficient scheduling and execution of preventative maintenance programs and maintain an accurate accounting of all venue systems inventory.
What will you do?
- Work with Venue Operations, Construction, and Design Team stakeholders to collect and input venue room data and installed equipment information into venue’s 24/7 CMMS module.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to collect Operations & Maintenance requirements for venue equipment, populate information into CMMS system, and schedule initial and ongoing preventative maintenance tasks.
- Participates in all commissioning activities including commissioning of building operations equipment, and coordination of FF&E equipment requirements with Venue Development team. Inputs relevant data for historical and tracking purposes.
- Work with Venue Operations managers and Venue Development team to identify requirements for “in-the-field” handheld devices to support the efficient execution of preventative maintenance, event requirements, and general repair tasks.
- Collaborates with guest services and security team prior to venue opening to build out 24/7 Incident Management module.
- Works with design team and MSG Construction to ensure Venue Operations team has access to up to date design and shop drawings. Coordinates the update of future drawing revisions post-opening to ensure maintenance records and building permit sets are continually up to date.
- Oversees Operations work order system to ensure necessary building repairs are properly communicated, tracked, and made in a timely manner. Analyzes data and develops reports for Venue Management to reference and present to leadership.
- Works closely with Director of Production Systems and Display Systems managers to efficiently manage inventory control of over 60,000 interior LED tiles and over 1M exterior LED lights.
- Collaborates with Venue Development and Design & Construction digital management team on future Sphere build outs to ensure consistency of document management systems.
- Coordinates with NYC Venue Management and Building Operations teams to develop and ensure best practices.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Extensive standing, walking, keyboard usage and general administrative duties
- Occasional travel to NY or Burbank, CA (<10%)
What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years of Venue or Facility Management experience with an emphasis on engineering or construction management preferred.
- Experience using 24/7 Software or other venue management related CMMS software system.
- Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to absorb and understand technical information.
- Windows/PC proficient and experience using Microsoft Office applications (including strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel), Adobe Professional and Bluebeam. Experience with AutoCAD recommended.
- Knowledge of Construction documentation systems preferred (ie: Autodesk Construction Cloud, PlanGrid, etc).
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.
