The Senior Manager Recruiting, People Acquisition will manage full life cycle for MSG Sphere. This includes all positions from entry level to senior level searches supporting the venue and the business. This position will lead a team of recruiters and contractors as needed. The ideal candidate will have multi-faceted experience across multiple areas including recruitment of corporate, hourly, and venue roles. This position will partner with business management and HRBPs to provide consultative support in all facets of talent acquisition (sourcing, identifying, attracting, hiring, and onboarding) to secure high-quality diverse talent into the organization.

What will you do?

  • The Senior Manage Recruiting, People Acquisition will manage and lead full cycle recruitment for high volume venue and FT positions across MSG Sphere’s businesses and entities.
  • The ideal candidate is committed to providing an enhanced customer and candidate experience and marketing MSG Sphere as a great place to work, while managing and leading a high performing team of recruiters.
  • This position will engage with candidates for open roles, they will collaborate with hiring managers on the requisition intake process, scoping positions, working with compensation department on position pricing, securing approvals, creating, and executing posting and direct sourcing strategies, assessing, and interviewing candidates, and guiding and coaching hiring managers through the process of attracting and on boarding best-fit employee talent.
  • Drive operational efficiencies throughout the hiring process, partner closely with people practices partners to ensure compliance within our hiring systems.
  • Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques by staying informed of industry trends and market intelligence to engage high volume of qualified candidates for PT positions across the venue.  Build relationships with key schools and sources within the community. 
  • Use data to influence hiring decisions, track hiring goals and develop reporting to meet established targets. 

What do you need to succeed?
  • The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of recruiting experience in high-volume and corporate environment with proven abilities to manage competing priorities and a demanding workload.
  • Strong history of placement success and can demonstrate agility and patience through difficult situations.
  • A track record of building partnerships with their business leaders, supporting functions, and managing a team of recruiters and/or contractors.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, influencing skills and written and verbal skills required. 
  • Working knowledge and understanding of all laws, rules, codes, and regulations applicable to the workplace.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume, complex, and changing entrepreneurial work environment while performing multiple tasks and managing a large requisition workload is a must.
