Senior Manager Account Management-Sphere- Hybrid

Who are we hiring?
The Senior Account Manager, Sales and Partnerships is responsible for owning the end-to-end execution of Sphere multi-product brand campaigns. They will be the team expert on the “how” as well as the “what” when it comes to Sphere products and services. They are also responsible for identifying new lines of business within existing partnerships and delivering strategic insights, guidance, and first-class service and support. The Senior Account Manager will work in close partnership with the Sales Managers and Sales Directors aligned to their book of business to support the sales process, from pitch to close. This includes collaborating with sales to scope and assess customer needs (and prepare for high priority meetings), partnering with sales operations and product teams to deliver the appropriate campaign guidance/specs, managing the end-to-end campaign process, and compiling post campaign reports.

What will you do?

• Work in partnership with Sales Directors and the Advertising Operations Director on all aspects of servicing MSG Sphere sponsorships, including inventory in the immersive 4D experience as well as the entire MSG Sphere portfolio (exosphere, galleries, signage, venue integrations, etc)
• Deliver daily account management of designated accounts including contracting, delivery reporting
• Support Pricing & Planning in managing inventory
• Liaison for sales between internal departments such as Media Ad Sales, Traffic, Finance, Production, Pricing and Planning, Network Marketing, and Partner Solutions to ensure all sponsorship executions are fully executed for the purchased term
• Partner with Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and on occasion, the VP of sales with the preparation of proposals/spec sheets to send to agencies/clients
• Communicate with agency/clients and necessary internal departments for contract revisions, invoice discrepancies, and billing adjustments
• Identify new lines of business that will deliver value to clients, partner with sales to maximize the partnership opportunity


What do you need to succeed?

• BS/BA college degree
• 7-10 years of Account Management or Program Management function within a media or technology company that services advertising clients
• Previous tech/television/live events/media company/agency experience preferred
• Self-starter, knowledge hungry, and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization
• Comfortable in both internal and client-facing meetings, calls, and presentations
• Strong written, oral, analytical communication skills with attention to detail and focus on accuracy
• Strong project management with ability to keep projects on schedule
• Highly organized with ability to meet multiple deadlines under pressure
• Ability to establish effective interdepartmental relations
• Ability to establish relationships with business partners including sponsors, vendors and media partners
• Team player to participate and support the needs of entire team
