Director Integrated Marketing, MSG Sphere - Hybrid

Who are we hiring?
Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, the Director of Integrated Marketing for MSG Sphere will be responsible with executing the customer acquisition strategy for MSG Sphere, with a goal of driving brand awareness and affinity, customer engagement and ultimately ticket sales for original attractions, music residencies and other marquee events. The ideal candidate will have experience and comfort creating marketing strategies across digital, OTT, OOH and linear. Working with a cross-functional team including Brand, Digital/Social, Insights, Sales and Partnerships, this individual will design and execute the marketing channels and promotions strategies, manage media planning and buying, and monitor the effectiveness of those strategies, customer acquisition costs and conversion rates related to meeting the brand and ticket sales goals. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a performance-focused and dynamic environment, and be able to work closely with the ticketing, pricing analytics and sales teams to continuously adjust tactics against goals. The Director of Integrated Marketing will also be responsible for creating and managing the media calendar, collaborating with Digital/Social on social, influencer marketing, content strategy and CRM. Critical to success is maintaining strong relationships with media and sales partners inside and outside the organization. This individual will lead a team in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Periodic travel required of this position. Experience in the Las Vegas market strongly preferred but not required.

What will you do?

• Execute the customer acquisition strategy for MSG Sphere, including designing the marketing channel strategy and media planning/buying
• Drive brand awareness, engagement and ticket sales for MSG Sphere
• Measure effectiveness of channel strategies in reaching customer targets and key audiences
• Measure conversion rates, cost of customer acquisition and continuously collaborate with Strategy and Operations team on plan against revenue goals
• Work with Studios team in coordination with artists, filmmakers and brands partnering with Sphere to help promote key events and drive ticketing sales
• Maintain a high level of awareness of market competition and trends and work with Insights team to continuously measure progress against key goals


What do you need to succeed?

• 8+ years of integrated or growth marketing experience in a DTC industry
• 3+ years management experience
• Experience in media planning and buying, either in house or within an agency environment
• Focus on delivering sales as part of marketing goals and comfort with inventory management
• Strategic thinker with excellent communications skills and ability to adjust to dynamic conditions
• Ability to navigate a matrix environment and bring together internal stakeholders
• Comfort in a fast-paced, live entertainment environment
