Senior Director Sales Operations & Planning-Hybrid

Who are we hiring?
The Senior Director of Sales Planning & Operations will report to the SVP, Sales & Partnerships for Sphere. They will manage a small team (including an analyst, sales planning, and ad operations lead) and will be responsible for effectively managing all Sales inventory, developing sales GTM strategy and creating strategic, analytical tools for Sales teams to evaluate business opportunities This includes management and orchestration of all deal economics, including assessing and evaluating new business models. Day to day, the Sales Planning team will partner with finance to generate weekly revenue reports for Sales & Partnerships including management and orchestration of sales pipeline. This person will build and manage the yearly rate card and adjust based on the market, improving existing reports and monitoring key financial metrics and overall, Sales & Partnerships team KPI’s. It is imperative for this individual to establish and maintain strong communications and relationships with internal departments and be comfortable presenting to executive leadership.

What will you do?

· Player/coach that will build a team that includes a sales planner, analyst, and ad operations manager
· Develop sales and GTM strategy across the suite of Sphere products and partnership opportunities
· Develop and orchestrate processes and system for evaluating deals and strategic partnerships
· Set up and maintain product rate cards to maximize customer value and ROI
· Compile effective weekly revenue/inventory reports for Sales & Partnerships and Finance teams
· Leverage sales data to deliver insight and opportunities
· Make inventory and pricing recommendations, working with regional VP’s to support negotiations
· Develop and manage all ad operations and processes; supporting the needs of sales & studio teams
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure we can fulfill and service partnership deals
· Manage Sales & Partnerships CRM and ensure it is serving the needs of the organization
· Test system enhancements for business functionality


What do you need to succeed?

· 10-15 years of strategy, planning, and operations experience in a world-class organization or consulting firm
· Proven ability to manage ever-changing needs at a fast-paced company and delivery key results
· Effective written and oral communication skills; expert at developing strategy and exec presentations
· Expert in MS Excel and how to both provide reporting and tell stories/create visuals with data
· Highly organized and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
· Stress tolerance-solution based thinking
· Ability to establish effective interdepartmental relations
· Deep knowledge of Ad Sales/Marketing Partnerships, with experience in technology or Media a plus
· Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, & knowledge of automated environments
