Who are we hiring?
Sphere’s Manager, Product Marketing will play a critical front-of-house role in positioning Sphere as a world first destination and global technology platform. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Product Marketing to design and host our product demonstration and VIP tours at MSG Sphere in Las Vegas, collaborate with Construction, Sales, Engineering and Sphere leadership on partner and client relationship management, and deliver key messaging around Sphere’s vision and innovations to a variety of audiences including top creative talent, potential business partners and clients. The Manager of Product Marketing will be charged with ensuring that MSG Sphere is consistently represented with polish, confidence, accuracy, and enthusiasm. This role will regularly interface with onsite construction, operations, technology and design to craft compelling and relevant tour messaging and demonstrations, accurately define the features and benefits of the venue’s advanced technology, drive quarterly content updates, and report guest and partner feedback to the leadership team. This individual will also be responsible for collaborating with Sales and Brand on the development of key product marketing and B2B materials, including Fact Sheets, Venue Brochures, Product Catalogs and other collateral as needed. In addition, the Manager of Product Marketing will collaborate with Communications when they conduct media and press tours in Las Vegas.
What will you do?
• Work closely with Senior Director of Product Marketing, Sales, and subject matter experts to design and host Sphere tours and product demonstrations that are tailored to creator and partner interests, and support desired business outcomes.
• Work closely with on-site Construction and Safety personnel to schedule and design tours in a way that doesn’t interfere with Sphere on-site building projects.
• Full project management of process, from ideation to proposal to production to implementation and reporting.
• Research and prepare biographies of VIP guests and strategic partners prior to all Las Vegas tours and meet-ups.
• Create and distribute a weekly tour schedule and summary of outcomes to relevant to Sphere leadership, internal stakeholders and the Studios team.
• Coordinate catering and special requests for tour attendees in Las Vegas.
• Distribute itineraries, calendar invites, and tour agenda to internal and external attendees in advance of visit.
• Support team in creating various product marketing assets in support of broader strategic corporate priorities. These include conference and event activations, sales and creative assets, etc.
• Assist team in development and creation of a MSG Sphere tour business for members of the public to commence after the venue opens. Assist in building tour production and content, and in hiring of tour guides in Las Vegas.
What do you need to succeed?
• 4-5 years’ experience in the entertainment industry. A background in marketing,
communications or sales & partnerships preferred.
• Ability to maintain poise under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communications skills.
• High level of commitment and demonstrated flexibility with the availability to work evening and weekends, when necessary.
• Relevant industry knowledge and enthusiasm (Film, Technology, Immersive).
• Relevant business knowledge (Marketing, Communications, Sales & Partnerships).
• Ability to work closely with various departments to create a welcoming environment for
employees and guests.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up and project management skills.
• Proficient in Mac, Keynote, Microsoft Office.
