Game Developer (Unreal Engine)

Description

Game Developer (Unreal Engine)

JOB OVERVIEW:

Torque3 is seeking a highly skilled, full-time game developer that will work with our design and engineering teams to develop new virtual environments and experiences for use on our proprietary platform.

Torque3 is a rapidly expanding MedTech startup that is developing a breakthrough neurorehabilitation solution. We are developing a realistic simulator that combines immersive VR, advanced robotics, and task-orientated therapy. Our integrated system is designed to help stroke and TBI survivors increase their neuroplasticity, and thus, make substantial gains faster. In other words, your role at Torque3 will be anything but dull! To get an idea of why we need a game developer for a neurorehab platform, watch this 1-minute clip: https://youtu.be/_W9sG45roMo

The job pays $90K to $120K. This is an on-site position. The “games” run on our unique system which requires a lot of hands-on validation testing.

MAIN ADVANTAGES OF WORKING AT TORQUE3:

1. You will have a work/life balance better than most game development teams. We rarely ask our game devs to come in on the weekends or work more than 50 hours a week.

2.  You will be a part of something much greater than yourself. There are 8 million stroke survivors in the United States alone, and unfortunately, almost 800K new people will join this group each year. The work you do at Torque3 can make the difference in these people getting some semblance of their life back and feeling whole again.

ABOUT US

Torque3 is on a mission to restore lost functionality and independence to people who have suffered a stroke or TBI. By joining the Torque3 team, you will be a part of something much greater than yourself. There are 8 million stroke survivors in the United States alone, and unfortunately, almost 800K new people will be joining that group each year. These people are facing months – even years of rehabilitation, with very little hope of ever getting back more than a fraction of their former lives. The Torque3 platform will help these people - and their families - to become whole again. Find out more at our website: https://www.torque3.com/
