Sequence Senior Production Coordinator

Description

We are a Manhattan Beach, CA based feature film production company creating movies in an AR/VR space. We are in search of an experienced Senior Coordinator. 

In this role the coordinator will partner with the team’s artistic Supervisor to breakdown, prioritize and schedule work for the team.  The coordinator will help schedule and manage reviews for the Supervisor and team, both internally to the team and with other departments.  The coordinator will be a point of contact to answer questions about scenes regarding status, or blocker issues and so must stay in close sync with the team Supervisor.

The coordinator must be a proactive and creative problem solver.

Ideal candidates must have an eye for detail. Must be a great communicator.  Must be able to communicate and work with various communication styles and personalities.  Must work well under deadlines and be able to adapt to the shifting priorities.  The ability to evaluate and enforce priorities is paramount. 

Candidates must have the ability to track lots of data.  The production uses Shotgrid as our production tracking software and so Shotgrid experience is a plus.

This person should be comfortable with new and evolving technology.  Curiosity and enthusiasm for virtual production, including performance capture is a plus.

This coordinator must come to understand our pipelines and enforce workflows across the team while looking for efficiencies. This person will help trouble shoot where technology breakdowns occur and contact the correct people to fix issues. Often working closely with the development team to fix bugs or modify tools.

Required: 

·      4+ years of experience coordinating a team or teams of artists working in Virtual Production, VFX or Animation.
