Multimedia Software Engineer
Description
Quatrefoil Associates has available an exciting opportunity for a
Multimedia Software Engineer to create interactive experiences,
multi-touch computer applications and multimedia environments for
museums and other interpretive centers.
Required Experience
- Microsoft .NET development – WPF or UWP, C#, and APIs to integrate
networked, online or database content into the user experience
- Extensive experience with multi-touch platforms
- Proficient in Visual Studio, Microsoft Blend
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of A/V standards and formats
- Proficient in use of version control software
- Proficient in creating technical documentation
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
- Web programming languages including HTML 5, JavaScript
- Unity or other gaming engines
- Creative programming languages such as Processing
- Other interactive media platforms commonly used in museums such as Ideum GestureWorks, BrightAuthor, Eyefactive, Touchbase UPDD
- Experience with non-touchscreen/electromechanical interfaces
- Show control
- Accessibility standards including ADA, WCAG
- Design/animation skills
