Description

pixelStorm is a leading developer of casual video games across multiple platforms. Our portfolio includes titles for high profile clients like EA (Poppit, Word Whomp, Phlinx, Mahjong Garden) and Microsoft (Bankshot Billiards for MSN, Bankshot Billiards 2 for Xbox 360). Ideal candidates will have extensive 2D illustration and animation experience, and experience with creating 3D pre-rendered assets (eg. animated sprites, visual effects, static backgrounds); experience with real-time 3D games is a plus. Candidates must be technically savvy and have a good understanding on how to prepare images for use by engineers.

Candidates for this position are highly prolific and able to quickly iterate on several concepts before developing final assets; they are pro-active problem solvers who can work effectively with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates possess great creativity, imagination, excellent drawing, conceptual, and painting skills, a strong work ethic. Having experience in developing artwork for comic books or art novels is a plus.
