Animation Outsourcing Manager

Description

Taking instruction and accepting responsibilities delegated to him or her by the studio management team, and carrying out those instructions and responsibilities in an expeditious and professional manner.
Keeping up to date with the industry as a whole, to ensure a ?high quality/competitive? product.
Work with project leads to determine outsourcing needs.
Generate project specification documentation to be delivered to animation studios.
Work with Leads and Project management staff to schedule asset due dates.
Find, research, test, select, and negotiate with animation studios.
Review deliverables for quality and accuracy.
Test deliverables to ensure they work with the game engine, and implement approved animations into the game engine.
Seeing to it that all deliverables are completed on time, as per the requirements of the project milestones.
Compile deliverables in an organized and easily accessible manner for the Lead artists.
Handle any disputes with outsource firms.
Provide Management with weekly summaries of deliverables completed and due dates.
