Lecturer in Game Programming/ C++

Description

The Academy for Digital Entertainment of NHTV University for Applied Sciences in Breda, the Netherlands, offers a program in “Game Architecture & Design”. The GA&D program has a Programming and an Art specialisation. The program scores well in national rankings, because of the vocational approach and the quality and experience of the staff. Working at NHTV is like working in the game industry, but without the pressure of production deadlines. GA&D staff is recruited from all over the world (US, UK, Australia, Italy, Belgium, Pakistan, the Netherlands), all courses are taught in English.

Due to an increase of student numbers the Academy for Digital Entertainment (currently 800 students and 60 staff members) is looking for:

Lecturer in Game Programming / C++

Functional content:
The activities to be performed include:
- development and implementation of course material in the field mentioned above;
- delivery of lectures and workshops to students;
- coaching and supervision of students in the Game Lab, our in house development studio, internships and graduation projects;
- participation in research projects, induced by the (game) industry.
