Environment Artist

Description

Midway Chicago is looking for an Environment Artist for our Chicago studio. This position will be primarily responsible for modeling and texturing new assets to a photo-realistic level of quality, porting and converting assets from other Midway titles to be re-used in a new title and managing technical aspects of these assets such as collision volumes and surface properties.

This position will:
• Continue to build durable, and reliable relationships with PD teams through established credibility and quality of work
• Consider time constraints when developing tasks, and plans solutions that fit into allotted time frames.
• Ensure that deliverables meet, or exceed the industry standard for artistic integrity, production values, and creativity
• Support and back up the Art Director where and when needed
