Job Responsibilities

The Sr Concept Developer will be focused on brainstorming and conceptualizing new ideas for possible products. This is an advanced position within the Creative Product Development Group.
The position will be critical in initiating creative thought and inspiring the team to create groundbreaking innovations. The Sr Concept Developer must have a complete understanding of the business and production environment of ESPN as well as how products may affect workflows.

The Responsibilities of Sr. Concept Developer are listed below, but not limited to the following, with a focus on major initiatives within the group:

? Create innovative concept ideas which will enhance production value, workflow process or provide efficiencies
? Oversee and guide Concept Developers to prototype new concepts.
? Create initial design requirements
? Provide initial hardware software suggestions.
? Work with 3rd party vendors to apply innovative uses of new and emerging technologies
? Work closely with advanced teams to identify possible emerging technologies for use in new product concepts
? Must be self motivated to research and evaluate new technology.
? Works with Management on Budgeting and forecasting.
? Works with management on project priorities, schedules, cost, vendor integration, and personnel
? Must assess cost implications and/savings
? Must assess risks of implementation
