We currently have exciting opportunites for a Character TD Supervisor to join the team at our Burbank, CA studios.

Responsibilities:
Supervise the creation of expressive and complex creatures and characters, including the creation of topology, textures and animation rigs. The Character Supervisor will oversee a team of artists working together to create integrated creature implementations that meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of the project.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Supervise a Character Team composed of animators, modelers, riggers, texture painters and look development artists in the creation of a complete character, providing both artistic and technical guidance
• Supervise the creation of a variety of character and prop rigs for animation and deformation
• Supervise the establishment of muscle and skin behaviors for a variety of characters
• Participate in the creation of technical standards and conventions in the creature implementations, including standards for directory structure, file and node naming and versioning
• Maintain functional parity between layout, animation and final creature implementations
• Direct the continuing maintenance and streamlining of the character process
• Develop and maintain portions of the character bibles, specifically in relation to the technical implementation of pertinent characteristics
• Work closely with the Animation Team to ensure the successful handoff and execution of character rigs
• Give regular updates and reports to the Visual Effects and Animation Supervisors
