VFX Facility Manager

Its companies are active in the financing, production, distribution of films and also in providing visual effects services to the film industry in Belgium and UK. uFund (Motion Investment Group), its financing arm, is the largest Tax Shelter film financier in Belgium, with more than 150 m EUROS of funds raised and 110 films financed, such as Hors la Loi selected at the 2010 Cannes Festival, Astérix aux Jeux Olympique and other international productions.
Founded by three young entrepreneurs and now leader in its market, our company with currently more than 55 staff plans to pursue and expand its fast growth by developing its new businesses.

uFX provides a full VFX service with two mirror boutique VFX companies, based in the post-production epicenter of London and on the Avenue Louise in Brussels, equipped with the latest software and hardware. Over 15 years of experience in creating astonishing visual effects for feature film and broadcast, having worked on Roman Polanski’s “Oliver Twist”, Clive Barker’s “Book of Blood” and “Dread”, Warner Bros’ “Chemical Wedding”, and Shane Meadows’ BAFTA winning “This is England”.



You will be required to liaise with European and U.S. clients to manage all aspects of the VFX team including the bidding process, leading a production schedule, managing the visual effects team, negotiating cost of work and managing the budget.

Additional experience in sales is a bonus, with the right contacts and connections to bring in feature film projects.

You will have the responsibility of representing uFX as the key client liaison on feature film projects to help establish and grow the VFX team in Brussels and London.

You should be capable of motivating and leading teams clearly and concisely when working to tight deadlines.


Key Roles

• Represent and introduce uFx to European Film producers, in particularely French clients

• Client contact for VFX breaking, bidding and negotiation of cost of work.

• Be proactive in communicating with management.

• Help set up new uFx Brussels offices in terms of office lay out, recruiting , process and tools implementation

• Plan and schedule facility resources with the internal Visual Effects Supervisors and Producers to create an effective approach to the visual
effects work.

• Track shot progress and interface with artists and most importantly, the department leads.

• Ability to work independently.
