2D Illustrator/UI Artist

As one of the most popular PC games today, League of Legends is reshaping PC gaming and core gamers perception of virtual goods. Riot Games (named a Top 30 developer by Game Developer Magazine), the publisher and developer of League of Legends, is experiencing a period of rapid growth, doubling the size of the company in the past year. With several million players in their first game across the US and Europe, and numerous awards (including IGN.com’s Readers' Choice for Best Multiplayer Game for League of Legends), Riot Games has pioneered new ground with their debut title and is continuing to aggressively expand.

Currently we are looking for a talented, ambitious 2D Illustrator to create rich, original UI elements for use across the League of Legends product. Position will utilize graphic design, illustration, concept, and light animation skills.

Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

•Concept and execute visually attractive comps and assets for use in game, web, and application interfaces.

•Mix fantasy and web 2.0 styles to push visual design forward

•Enable and foster visual cohesion by creating modular elements which can be used product-wide

•Work collaboratively with UI designers, programmers, and other artists to deliver usable UI art elements
