Who are we hiring?
The Senior Director Product Exosphere will own and build the experiences and tools that inspire brands to create and visualize their ad creatives for the Exosphere advertising product suite. They will work with creative and engineering teams to develop scalable solutions like a creative gallery and ad templates (i.e., define content type, technical baseline optimization required, ad duration etc.) to enable any advertiser to build content for the Exosphere and maximize inventory fill rate. They will also build web and VR based applications for advertisers to easily preview their ad creative. The Exosphere Senior Director will be challenged to generate far beyond $100M of revenue per year with our Las Vegas Exosphere while generating content and advertising that is creatively respected and awarded in the industry.
What will you do?
· Own the strategy, roadmap, and development of the inspire, create, and preview product experiences for the Exosphere
· Perform supporting research and analysis for these products by working with customer knowledge, sales, and marketing teams to identify customer needs and translate those into technical requirements
· Benchmark existing technologies to make buy vs. build decisions
· Lead through influence to ensure cross-functional alignment on product roadmaps, feature prioritization, resourcing, pricing, and go to market strategy
· Work cross-functionally across engineering, UI/UX, creative design, operations, content, production, and finance teams to build deliver these products to market
· Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet goals
· Responsible for the commercial success of product offering measured in terms of operational excellence and revenue/profitability (north star metrics)
What do you need to succeed?
· 10–12 years of relevant work experience
· Deep interest in the intersection of technology, business, consumer behavior, and innovation
· Degree in a demanding undergraduate field (engineering, operations, economics, finance) and either an MBA or deep experience starting their own business or have general management ownership at a young age
· Demonstrated domain knowledge in media, music, entertainment, advertising, advertising technology would be preferred
· Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
· Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary
· Must have the ability to work independently when necessary, and use sound business judgment
