VP Partner Solutions

Who are we hiring?
The Vice President of Partner Solutions will be a customer marketing expert who is able to design and package our advertising, sponsorship, and marquee event products into solutions that meet customer needs. The right leader will be an expert at designing solutions and articulating the benefits of these packages in a manner that makes customers and clients want to buy. The VP will have strategic vision to develop a “portfolio” of solutions that enables us to meet our revenue targets, maintains pricing discipline and deal governance, and wins industry awards for customer marketing efforts that create brand breakthrough for our partners. The VP of Partner Solutions will lead a team of solutions architects who will listen to customer needs, benchmark what we have to sell, and design packages that enable the MSG Sphere to meet all of our sales and partner revenue goals. The right leader will connect customer needs, with technical potential, and creative development to design and deliver solutions that work for our partners, our fans, and our brand.

What will you do?

• Lead team of solutions architects that work in partnership with our sales teams, our marketing team, our creative studio, and our technical engineers to design, develop, and deliver solutions that build our customer’s brand, enhance the Sphere brand, and make commercial sense for all parties.
• Ideate, design and package advertising, sponsorship, and marquee event products into solutions to meet customer objections and creative vision.
• Connect “what we have to sell” with “what the customer needs to solve” into customer marketing and partners solutions that create win – win scenarios
• Develop a “portfolio” of sales solutions templates that sellers can use to scale the business, balancing customer goals and objectives with the best of sphere technological innovations
• Identify key third party partnerships that can integrate into Sphere sales solutions in order to meet customer needs and bring innovation


What do you need to succeed?

• 8-15 years of customer marketing experience across a variety of sales, customer experience, production, design, marketing, pricing, and deal design roles.
• Proven track record creating bespoke concepts that deliver incremental revenue
• Expertise working with sales teams, clients, finance managers, creative production teams, advertising and media buying agencies, and designers
• Deep knowledge of the media and entertainment industry, with an understanding of how branded content solutions can work for both brands and creators
• Great ability to lead cross functionally between the sales organization, product management organization and the Sphere Studio team (both creative production and technical development).
• Proven success building and leading effective teams and growing individuals
