Description:

Sara and the Starfish Sequence four. This was a pilot for an animated series that I worked on. All of the animation was Accomplished using Maya Version 6.5. I worked for a company in San Diego Called Grand Designs. I was employed as a Lead Animator, I did not model any Of the character models or props shown. In this case I was given a voice track to work From, and a description of what the director wanted to see. I created the Animatic, Chose the angles and the staging and completed all of the character animation shown. I spent approximately 4 weeks to create this. Kraft BBQ This was a commercial I animated for Rhythm and Hues. I worked to create The staging of the cameras and was responsible for the character animation. The modeling, texturing and character rigging was accomplished buy other talented Artists. This commercial was created using R&H’s proprietary software, the approximate amount of time I worked on this was three weeks. Pringles Sweet Mesquite This was a commercial I animated for a studio in Santa Maria, called CafeFX. I was the lead animator on the spot, I did all of the character animation and the camera staging. All of the modeling Texturing and lighting was accomplished by other talented artists. The software used on this commercial was Lightwave 3D version 7.5, and Project Messiah. Orange “Try” This was two commercials I animated for a studio in Santa Monica. I worked to create The staging of the cameras and was responsible for the character animation. The modeling, texturing and character rigging was accomplished buy other talented Artists. This commercial was created using Maya 8.0, the approximate amount of time I worked on this was three weeks. Anaconda. The visual effects were created by Sony Pictures Imageworks. I was an animator on this film, these were the scenes I animated. The software used was Alias Power Animator, and Maya . My responsibilities consisted of Tracking and stabilizing the live action plate. Then roto animating a 3d standin figure that the snake would be attacking, finally animating the snake in the shot to the approval of the animation director. Unleashed. The Visual effects were created by Creative Visual Effects in Santa Monica. I was an animator on this film, the head was created in Maya and projected on to the live Action plate of the dog. My responsibilities consisted of Tracking and stabilizing the live action plate. Then animating a 3d projection head over the live action plate footage. Finally animating the expression and Lypsync to the voice provided. In one Scene shown I animated a Completely 3D version of the Dog.
